It doesn't do any good, and users are known to post more cruddy replies in order to gain a higher postcount.

I figure that John and I are diametrically opposed in a symbiotic relationship.

There's this constant loud ringing in my ears that gets amplified for a few days when I use cold medicine. This is extra annoying as it's annoying to begin with. I noticed the ringing around age 45. It's gotten progressively more prominent since I noticed it. Thank God simple everyday concentration on other things distracts my mind from it, but it's still always there, I'm thinking it may be subconsciously affecting my mind in a negative way. I hope not.

As a general rule of forums, moderators, administrators and members with some sort of higher usergroup can double post and SPAM and not get told off (even if the majority of their posts are double posts) just because of their authority. Once you're known really well around any forum they will let you away with more.

It could be from loud noises too, because I used to stand directly in front of my guitar amp to produce feed back sounds for hours, about 3 or 4 times a week, for years in a row. That very well may be it too. Oh well. I guess I'll live.

Course now that I think of it, it's probably just from all those damned years of drug abuse. Yeah, that sounds reasonable.
Well, I'm not sure what I've become in the last 4+ years here at the forum, but, I do like to think that I haven't overly angered anyone with my sometimes wild posting behavior. I suppose maybe I have. I certainly hope not. I'm just another jackass really, that's all. It's just that sometimes I'm a very loud one.
You may want to consider reading between the lines, however. This can be very enlightening.

Approximately how many is "a lot", if you don't mind me asking? I'm just curious, so if you'd rather not say, why, just ignore the question.

I disagree, even if you are referring specifically to rep.

I shall stop posting just short of that!
I'm more than willing to contribute to the community, but I'll only go so far. lol

Why? Could be some good advantages to having that designation. Seriously. The simple fact of the designation's presence under his name means he is loved. This is usually a good thing.

Don't mind me. Was experiencing a moment of silliness when I wrote that.
Now, do I use this special silliness for good or evil... hmmm...

That reminds me, what the heck fun is roaming within in the confines of mediocrity, hell that's no fun. Do what I do, bounce between the extremes. Ok on second thought... maybe that's not such a good idea.. lol

I think Rhyswynne may have meant blog. Same person over and over. Some good blogs out there though. I've checked out a few lately, something I don't usually do.

Atom I watch, I read, I am amazed. I thought I was posting too much.
Average post counts per day:
Atom 16
StrongInTheArm 13
In answer to the question, how many posts are too many, that is the wrong question? It should be how relevant are the posts and what is the purpose of the forum in question?
For instance the lobby is for us to chat about anything and while away our lives in indolence. We go off topic quite frequently, its no biggy, especially if we get back on track eventually. Of course if we behaved like that outside the lobby, well spanking would ensue I fear.
I allow myself to be guided by the rules of the forum and the moderators. It is always best to get a feel for the place before starting to post, which means lurking about reading endless posts and getting to know the members. Once you have done the time, you get to know what is acceptable and what will be stamped on.
