Some overrated Movies

I thought Pirates of the Caribbean was pretty overrated. It was pretty good, but not good enough to be whored everywhere, not to mention the legions of screaming fangirls.
300 was pretty overrated, too, just because it was a pretty mediocre movie, aside from the CGI. You see Gerard Butler's screaming face plastered all over the internet, though, and you can't go a week without hearing some allusion to "THIS IS SPARTA!"

Pirates is probably one of my favorite movies of all-time.

But the sound of music sucks pretty hardxcore

All movies are overrated. Hype is the foundation of box office success. There are good movies, but the hype always promises too much and the films never live up to it.

The hype has lived up to a few for me. And it looks like all the hype for the Black Night, and specifically the new Joker Heath Ledger who looks insanely amazing, will do the same.
