d00d, nobody cares. We get that crap all the time. It's called spam, delete it. Did you just get the training wheels pulled off your kb or something?

I used to receive tons of such weird emails and some I used to believe in and forward too. Now they've stopped.

You should delete that email immediately.

Spam filters are not 100% accurate sometimes, and for some people, most times...

There is no way replying to an email would send your password. the only way to get your password is if you have an active keylogger on your computer which is stealing and compiling your keystrokes or you actually type your password in a reply and send it.

If you reply, what happens is that they also know that there is a real person behind the email address and this information will be used to to send you more spam from other spammers.

Golden rule: NEVER REPLY TO SPAM! EVER!!!

Spammers work by sending out millions of emails, most of them bounce as the addresses are nonexistent, if you reply, you have just done yourself a major dis-favour dude.

I run Mcafee Internet Suite on my systems and to be honest, their spam filter is constantly updated and it just throws any spam mails I get straight into the spam bin without me even doing anything. Pretty handy really

Dont reply, dont trust spam filters, I don't even open emails from people I don't know, especially if there is an attachment.

Too many people out there trying to rip you off.

If it sounds too good to be true you can bet it is. Delete that spam and forget it.

It's better known as a 419 scam, sadly they're quite common these days and people do still get ripped off.

They don't want your password, they want to rip you off and have you send them money. One of my old email addresses got harvested by these scammers and I was getting tons of them everyday, they range from fake jobs, to cheque scams to plain old send us some money via western union or other money wiring service.

Ignore it, delete it, and they'll go away.
