I know of many farmers who talk to their cows.
Anyway the aliens might be vegetarians.

I was wondering about astronomers the other day, if one specialised in the study of gas giants such as Jupiter and Saturn, would they be called gastronomers?

And don't forget your tinfoil hats. They can enhance your telepathic communicativity. Or is it protect you from harmful telepathic communicativity? I can never remember. Maybe it depends on whether you make the hat with the shiny side of the foil on the outside or on the inside.

I think that these so called aliens are not so alien. In my opinion they're probably not little green women (or men), or monstrous beings from far off. I think that if they do exist, they're closer to us then we know. They probably look very similar to the human species too!
They probably know what would happen if they were to be discovered by us, so they stay 'super' incognito. I know I have fears of the unknown, so of course if they were to reveal themselves all at once then there would be mass panic.
Anyhow, Egyptian hieroglyphs have shown that there may have been some form of contact with a 'people of the stars'. But those were different times and most of that era has been lost due to decay and the passage of time.
I wouldn't worry about talking to an alien, because it'd probably freak you out.

They very well could live now, I'm just assuming they don't because human existence is a only a speck of time compared to the overall age of the universe, if that the universe has an age.
Could someone tell me where all the matter in space came from? I'm up all night thinking about this. so the stars created life with various explosions and collisions, but what created the stars. Where did the elements come from. And if anyone could answer that one, then where did that thing or place that created all the matter in the universe come from?

Sounds like someone was watching too much Men In Black. Pick up a copy of Weekly World News and see what is really going on in the world of the unknown.

Who is to say two alien races could not exist at the same time?
As I understand it ...
Pre-big bang its all pretty much unknown, there was no time or space (that is the three dimensions we are familiar with currently). The bang caused the Universe to inflate incredibly quickly and created a panoply of sub-atomic particles which combined to form mainly hydrogen, (may be something else too, can't remember, I wasn't there). Gravity caused clumping of the hydrogen, which eventually lead to star formation. All the heavier elements were created during the death of stars, when they go supernova and destroy themselves. This explosion disperses the heavier elements.
70% of the mass of the Universe is composed of dark matter that nobody has any proven ideas about and has never been seen, although we know where it is roughly. The other 30% is the stuff you referred to as the elements and is the stuff we can see.
The big questions are what was before the big bang and what was the cause. Oh and who had the good idea of painting 70% of the Universe black.
That's a very simplified version as I understand it. It comes with no warranties. As you can tell I'm an art student and know nothing about theoretical physics.
Anybody wants to make any corrections please feel free.
Where's that damn Hawkins when you need him, I thought he used to lurk about in the lobby trying to get a glimpse of a flash or two from KJ

I was joking. I though I do dabble with oils and watercolour somewhat.

Was it the flares in the seventies that scared them away? If you think aliens exist, why do you think they have not made contact again?

They are obviously not humans if you check Roswell etc.
I speak for all humans, we are a stupid race. They do not need to waste their time with us. If we are unable to talk with them, then they can just let us fight each other till the extinction of the human race.
Why would they care about us. We would not benefit them at all. They would be far more sophisticated and more intelligent, if they can fly from planet to planet.
