Are you affraid of facial hair?
India court in moustache notice.
India's Supreme Court has issued a notice to a state-run airline asking it to explain why an air steward was sacked for wearing a big moustache. Victor Joynath De was grounded by Indian - formerly called Indian Airlines- in 2001 for refusing to shave off his handlebar moustache.
What made me laugh was this line from a representative of the airline:
The spokesman said that some passengers could be unnerved by such a striking facial feature.
Do you become unnerved by facial hair, surely this is not possible, or is it?

Not on other people, but I don't think I'd look good in a mustache.

Whether or not I am scared of hair (I'm not), that's no reason to force someone to shave their own face.

It looks good on some people, it looks bad on others... it really depends on how they make it go with their look.
Shouldn't be discriminated against just for looks, though. :p

I think having a facial hair are too itchy.. but that might be ok.. It really depends on the person. Usually I prefer clean shaven but sometimes the rugged look is hot though I go for clean shaven.. A bit on the chin can be nice too. As long as it doesn't scratch me, all is fine!

Couldn't have said it better myself.
When, as a society, are we going to stop forcing others to adjust their lifestyle due to our own idiosyncracies?
Whatever happened to "Live and let live."?

OMG, the preschool teacher at my kids' school has visible moustache hair... once my 4 yr old and I were talking to her and he interrupted to ask "Mom, why does she have a moustache?" I was mortified!
