Thanks Guys!

Going to have a few friends and family over tonight for a little celebration I like to call "The Night Before The Morning After".
40 is a big one. But, I always have my mother's birthday to make me feel young again.
I was born on her 20th birthday, so, although I'm 40 today, she's 60.
I guess she didn't have anything interesting to do on her 20th birthday, so she had me.
(It was all downhill from there!)

ZAP!! You're older than me?!?!?! Whoa... Here I thought I was this ancient sage showing all you kids the ways of existence when all I am is an upstart pup. That's the way the ferret bounces.

Have a great one and remember that age 'tis merely a digit, nothing more.

The big 40 eh? Well many gratuconsolations dude! And your mum too.

Now the last vestiges of bum fluff and pubescent spots have no doubt vanished and wisdom will begin to set in with a vengeance. Life really begins now, before was just mucking about.

Zappmeister: many happy returns. Fret not about the threshold; today's 40 is yesterday's 39. There's virtually no difference. And there's not much difference between 39 and 38. 38 and 37 year olds are, naturally, virtually indistinguishable. And who can tell the difference between a 33 year old and a 37 year old? No one I know. And 33 is truly just a smidgen different from 30. In turn, 30 really isn't that far removed from 25; I can never tell those youngsters apart. And 25 - that's really college age, and everyone knows there's no difference between college kids of any age.

So I hear you've just turned 18...

For some reason I though you were younger. You're as stagnant as me!
