Untill like 30-40 years ago, in the western world there was no divorce at all, of course not 100% but 99% didnt divorce.

However, in Asia things were a bit different, like in Japan, divorce were a normal part of life since forever, and no one made a big deal out of it...

PCTEC i admire you for loving your wife for 20 years ...

What i can say is marriage is not forever unless your wife or husband is not only your partner but also your best friend. In one relationship love is not the number one reason. I can say that it will be forever if there is respect.
