That's pretty cool to see people just lounging in the water while being sever their food too!
Those rats seem to be getting fed milk. I think I read somewhere about a certain part in India where they treat some animals as holy.
Interesting.

I think I read that too or watch it in some television show. Well if thats the way they treat them then I guess they are holy. They live with 'em, sleep with 'em. That is one cool lunch huh... I wonder what happens when a wave comes....

It is true. Rats are regarded as a pet of lord Ganesha.
There is a temple built only for rats(that's the pic).
People even share their food with the rats!
But I personally hate rats, cuz I don't believe much in religion.

There are several countries in the middle east that treat cows as being holy. It is weird because you see them all over the place but you see tons of people starving to death too.

Actually this is quite related to Geography. The middle eastern people had proper amount of grains and other vegetables due to presence of good climate and soil. There wasn't any need for them to hunt.
But in areas where there was less vegetation, Hunters evolved! and they started eating flesh.

That picture is little scary for sure
But I must say India has great places to visit. One of the places is Darjeeling; up in the mountains. They have houses on the mountain tops; if you keep your windows open you will have clouds passing through your room. Thats like living in the clouds.
