What will the World be after 1000 years?
What will the World be after 1000 years from now? I know we are all dead by that time. but Do you think earth still exist by that time? knowing how we humans abuse our environment and knowing how drastic our world have changed?
Will there be an end of everything and will there be a new beginning?

I agree "mans greed will be his undoing" and eventually will make the end of everything..
do you guys believe that there will be an "end of the world"? how do you think will it end?

I think we will still be here, but it will be like in "Mad Max" or "Tang Girl", not to much population, not a lot of water,a lot of crime...
The other option will be that alians will come and will open a new world of ideas and technology and then it will look more like "Babylon 5" or "Star Treck"...
Hmm, do you think i watch to much TV ?

The planet will be fine, its been around for some 5 billion years, it ain't going anywhere. Humans will survive in some way, I'm not pessimistic. - We will have sorted our energy problems and be traveling between the stars, with colonies around the other planets in our solar system.
- We will have established that aliens exist.
- There will be several new human sexes to confuse reproduction.
- Cows will be able to talk and offer themselves for cooking at all good restaurants (HHGTTG).
- Mandarin will be the global language of love, Sanskrit the language of commerce and English the language of history.
- Giant ants will fly on the backs of giant pigeons and darken the skies, (no sorry that one was just a nightmare).

The world will be fine... its been around for millions of years and it is still evolving... through out time, it will still evolve, and so to our ways of living, and who knows, maybe our physique will too...

I imagine the world being like the one in the Star Wars movie after hundred of years...  Transportation wouldn't be a problem I guess... And most probably, earth wouldn't be a good place to live at...

Hmmmm...hoping that the world is still fine by that time..
as we can see everything here is not going well..
there's poverty,homeless family.out of school youth,drug addiction,prostitution,global warming ect..but still hoping to see a "flying cars"....LOL

well, with the fuel and oil problem we are having nowadays, I say it would take more than a thousand years to see 'em flying cars.. maybe, the only way to see them is to watch back to the future episode 2...

world should be fine , i think there will be a global government ( a nightmare but i do think it will happen someday unfortunatly) and an even more controled society in the name of our own survival
