French wine forever

The question is which one? The wine that match the meal, or wine degustation.

Drinking wine when I am out for diner (and be not the driver), or 1 or two bottles when I am home.

When we had a regular family reunion, I can tell you that we drink several bottles of wine, champagne and cognac in France.

Since I am in US, I am not drinking as I use too.

Am I imagining it or are they more disapproving of drink in the US. I mean in the sense of, at work in the UK we'll often go and have a pint of beer or glass of wine with our lunch - fairly common behaviour - do they do that in the US? Or in your own country?

Sorry I did see your post.

In France before to come here they started to forbidden alcool at work, but you know how we are and we often during lunch bough from a little store not far from work wine (a few bottles) , paté and cheese and eat with our manager.

It was great to have some time together, and we felt as a very good team.

By the way the legal time for lunch is 1 hour in France, or depending of service you are doing, we all drink anyway.

I think since I am in US I surprised myself and begun a light wine drinker. I guess I adapted myself in every situations.

We like to drink at my current office, but only after working hrs after a hard days work (we work hard and need to release stress through alcohol sometimes)
