Back in high school Burger King promoted the spongebob movie by placing giant 10' spongebob blow-up dolls on the roofs of their restaurants. We stole it in the dead of night and placed it on top of the school, because we were idiots.

Been a spongebob fan ever since.

Unfortunately yes...I am not sure I would say it is a bad cartoon, although between my 9 year old daughter and my grandchildren I would say that it plays way to often and falls in the annoyance field of Barney in the 90's.

I have managed to introduce my daughter over the years to Scooby Doo, The Flintstones, Magilla Gorilla, Grape Ape, etc....so though I do have to sometime deal with the sponge bob type things, at least I get to watch the good stuff too! :-)

I saw a few minutes of one episode and did not get it. Never cut it on again after that.
