Banned e-mail extensions

Do you have a list of banned e-mail extensions you use to filter out registration from known spammers and if so, would you mind listing them here?

Currently the e-mail extensions that give me the most trouble are:

@raph.us
@mail.ru
@3126.com
@spambox.us
@goldwarez.org
@gawab.com
@chongsoft

I don't block registration based on the email address for 2 reasons.
1) The list could potentially become so long that it becomes more hassle than it is worth.
2) I don't want to block potentially legitimate registrations.
If someone registers that is clearly a spammer then they are very quickly banned anyway so it isn't too much of an issue. If it does become an issue then I may have to look at banning the most troublesome emails but I hope that won't happen.

I agree. I find it is better to concentrate on legitimate registrations if you can.

Well, it is difficult to ban all extension, there are many. Spammers may create thousands of new extensions. So better you use good verification tool lie recaptcha

These spam e-mails are a big problem and cause a lot of problem for me, I would definitely try tour suggestion of blocking the e-mails with the extensions you have mentioned. But these e-mails are a big issue for me. Does anyone have some better option than this to avoid such e-mails.

This was the reason for banning extensions in my case as the ones listed produced ONLY spam members. Not one legitimate member came from any of the extensions I listed.

Take a look at www.stopforumspam.com to find more information about blocking emails and IPs.
