Content Balancing

Just out of curiosity fellow forum owners, do you balance the time you spend adding fresh forum content with the time you spend adding fresh content to your blogs, social bookmarks, etc.?

In other words, if you spend 1 hour/day in your forums creating and responding to posts, do you spend 1 hour adding fresh content to your blog, social bookmarks, etc.?

I try to spend most of my time on my forums as well as other forums with whom I am trading posts. Because once a forum takes off then you can sit back and enjoy ever growing traffic and content

Although I do try to do atleast 1 new story/news article per day which usually takes me about 10-30 minutes depending on how long/ in depth it is.

Then I spend the rest of my time link-building or playing games as my site is about gaming! I am going to start doing about 20 links a day for the next couple of weeks and hopefully that should take me to the top of the rankings for my desired keywords!

I try to focus on one project at a time, when they are large you can hire other people to manage them.
Then you can start on another project and start the process again.
Until you get loads and then have to manage the managers most of the time
