Why do I get non-english speaking traffic?

I am using Getclicky to track my website traffic. The website is new with limited content. I get very little traffic due to the site being early in development.

My question is I am getting a couple of visits a day, from countries such as Russia, Thailand etc. that are "direct" traffic. That is they are not coming from a google search. How did they know I exist? It is all bounce traffic, but I am curious as to how they found my website. Any thoughts?

most likely your pages got indexed for some keyword and they just bumped into it.

Google is not the only search engine.....

For I know you can check out what and where is the referring site / keyword how your visitors find you. If they find your website by accident, for I would be happy for it. For me every eyeballs counts. If their not or within my niche, I would gladly welcome them to my website.

Thanks for the replies. I am glad for the traffic I was just trying to figure out how they know I exist because there may be an opportunity to exploit.

I do realize there are other search engines it is just that my analytics service identified it as direct traffic rather than search engine referrals. It may be that I just don't yet understand the tools I am using. I am still climbing the learning curve, and have a long way to go.

This isn't forum related but i've noticed for the past few years, some people use Google translate to read content on my blog. I've never targeted the international people but my blog is indexed in there search engine version in there own language.

People will find a way to read content on your forum even if they have to use a translater to read what language your forum is in.

You must be ranked for a keyword which is only searched by non-english speaking people. Try using google analytics and google webmaster tools in order to better identify the source and the cause of this.
