So far I've been knee deep in Dirt 2 simply because it's awesome. This time around they modeled the cars before making the tracks and its made for a much more realistic driving experience. For the first time, the cars feel as if they have weight behind them and losing the rear is all that much easier.

The only complaint I have about this game is that they still don't have weather which is ridiculous. I really loved the Snow and Rain we got in CMR 05 but since Dirt there's been nada.

I think they are capable of adding weather handling to the EGO engine if they want to, the engine has been used in some big titles already such as GRID, and Op. Flashpoint: DR. So far it has been profitable to Codemasters.

Lets hope they do it in the future.

I've been waiting for STALKER CoP for a while now. Even played some of it with the crap en translation but hit the Pripyat wall and stopped. I don't have a DX11 card but the DX10 features are still nice.

As far as I know, ATI is the only one in the market with a DX11 card and considering where Nvidia is heading, not even sure they will get one out before Q2 2010. And really, I'm just interested in the tessellation feature of DX11 - I'd love to see how that plays out with immersion instead of seeing all those edged polys.

I'm actually waiting for NVIDIA to release their DX11 cards so I can save a few bux on a GTX285 or 295. I've waited this long what's another 6 months or so; unless they do come out with Fermi in Q1?

I hope you realized that what you replied to was 2 years old. Pretty much every GFX manufacturer has DX11 cards out now and has had for some time.
