What is the best mouse for gamer?
I am looking this mouse from Razor and it is looking good. Does anyone here ever experienced with them? Is it good just for gaming purpose? Is gaming mouse mats necessary?

I have a razor, its about 4 - 5 years old, and I dont know if its even made anymore. Out of the 7 buttons, I can only use 4 of them. The other 3 buttons are out of reach of my fingers without having to move my hand on the mouse.
left button
right button
scroll button
side thumb button
3 buttons I can not reach without moving my hand.
So when a mouse says it has 5, 6 or 7 buttons, how many of them wil you be able to reach without having to move your hand? For me, it was only 4.
The scroll button - push to talk for voice communications
left button - fire
right button - jump
thumb button - swap between 2 weapons that I use the most.
Razor makes some good mice, but I wish it would have been designed a little better. If the buttons would have been moved just 1/4 inch, it would have been a lot better.

The best mouse for you is the mouse that fits your hand comfortably, gives you enough choices for action/button configuration and keeps your wrist as flat as possible.
Asking a wide open question like this is going only to get you opinion based off what people prefer on their own setups which will NOT help you. If you are an avid gamer or anyone who spends a lot of time using a mouse, the best mouse out there is the mouse that makes you feel the most comfortable.
Just to give you an idea, as an avid gamer I've tried many different mice and the one I keep coming back to is a simple Microsoft Wheel Mouse as it has the lowest profile, fits perfectly along the length of my hand (fingertips to palm) and allows my wrist to lay on flat on the desk with no angle to my forearm.

You can't go wrong with Razer. There mouses are probably the best for gaming.
Precise, lots of configurable buttons, nice design.

I have a pair of big hands and I like playing games (COD MW online) so my razer deathadder is perfect for me @3500 DPI and large size. Go with Razer Deathadder (personal experience) or Logitech Gaming Mouse G500.

It is necessary for me. I have experiences the different feeling between cheap and good one, even on the similar dpi. Two mouses with 1,000 dpi will not be that exact similar in cursor moving, scrolling and feeling while grabbing.
I have ended up with Microsoft Wireless 6000. It is not a gamer mouse like their Sidewinder but it is the best for me personally. I have tried gamer mouse such as Razer, SteelSeries or even Roccat but I did not like it.

For me, when I'm playing Online FPS I prefer Pleomax because it is best for navigation movement and sniping scope.

I'm not huge into heavily active games, but the best bang for my buck is the Logitech laser mouse I got to replace a dead optical one about 6 months ago. I had no idea a $20 mouse on sale at Office Depot would work so good and move so smoothly!

Razors are great! I burst out in tears when I spilled milk on my razor tarantula keyboard.
You should definitely try their products, they are perfect for a gamer.

I used Ideazon Fang Gamepad keyboard for gaming..
it has a cool command toolbars. Plus, the Gamepad works for both left-handed and right-handed gamers.. really great for my gaming type..
