I haven't checked both of it so I don't have anything to share. I'm a gamer so I'd like to keep track of this post.

Both of them because I played both CS1.6 and CS:Go what I like with the CS:Go is the improved graphics there are a lot of maximum players like 32 or 42 player for the CS:Go. The only thing that I don't like with the CS:Go is the choosing of the weapons its like a wheeled base and its confusing unlike on the other CS where in its really simple.

Well, I think the game is nice, I see it as the perfect blend of Counter 1.6 and the Source. The gameplay I have been very successful, with the style of 1.6. The addition of new grenades, especially the fire (terrorist )gives a little more variety to the game and that where you think is hiding a "mushroom" sure you get it. And i like too much the score TF2 style.

My son just bought GO the other day and it was actually cheaper than Source... and I can see why.

GO's graphics are slightly better, but that's where it ends for me. The game was scaled back (Nerfed), no silencers, can't import custom spray and feels more like Call of Duty than the CS lineage to name a few.

I'm a hard core CS fan and have been playing since the original beta and I think GO will fall by the wayside. Ever since the launch of GO, Source has become more popular because of its strong, loyal community, the great mod's and the style of game play. I've had friends play GO and come back to Source because there was no challenge, mostly newbs play GO, they came back because it got boring for them.

Actually read the thread before responding, not just the title. Take time to read through the responses too.

A quality post is one that adds to the conversation, something new, a different perspective, another point, etc. It also clearly conveys your thoughts. If you state an opinion, explain it. If you state something as fact, back it up with a link to reliable resources.

If you agree or disagree with someone, explain why, and what you base that opinion on.

I like 1.6 better. I like things that are more simpler, and 1.6 is simple and more effectively fun!

Both games are good for the time being, CS:GO community is growing. That might make me to switch from BF3 But overall i like CS:GO, however would have been nice if they improved the gameplay(add something MORE innovative and new).

Why is it?

It would help if you backup your replies a little with some details.

Personally I prefer CS 1.6. I have played it a lot more and prefer it.

I played CS:GO in the beta and I thought it required way too many shots to kill someone. I also thought the guns were harder to aim with.

I feel much more comfortable playing CS 1.6 as I feel I am a better player on it and I find it easier to play.

Don't get me wrong I did enjoy CS:GO while I played it I just didn't feel it was quite as balanced as CS 1.6.

support for cross-platform play between the Mac, PC and PlayStation 3. This in itself could open up a whole new batch of players who may have been unable to play a Counter-Strike title
