Before it came out nothing was anything near, the graphics, gameplay, the community, also the fact it has sold 11.5M copies since release talks for its self!

Sometimes the old ones are the best. The original Super Mario for example, even now I can pick up my DS and play for an hour.

If I'm living in an area with good internet signal then I'll play MW2 on XBOX. I find it relaxing.

Witcher and Witcher 2 - I'm a fan of the book series and of this universe. Amazing games with unique RPG system, non-linear storyline, spectacular combat system.
Baldur's Gates, Neverwinter Nights and Dragon Age 1-2 - on of the best fantasy RPG games of all times with interesting quests, combat system, quests, character development and story.
System Shock series, Bioshock series, Dead Space series - well, I like horrors and biopunk and these games are classic!
Deus Ex series - cyberpunk is one of my favorite genres and that's all!
Fallout series - RPG, post-apocalypsis and wastelands, what can be greater?

Half-life 2 - best PC game ever produced. Can easily find in top places in any pc game charts you search. Can't wait for 3rd one to come out.

I've been playing the Battlefield series since its first iteration and continue to play faithfully today. Expansive and destructive environment, multiple character classes, and very fast paced. So my favorite is the current iteration, which is Battlefield 3.
