I joined last month and would like to get started doing posts.. which I will. I also would like to offer to swap copywriting for email list mailing. How can I go about making that offer? Do I use the marketing forum?

It seems to be very organized/structured here, but yet very accommodating.

I've noticed a number of 'banned' posters... is it because they become unruly, or is it more of "policy infringement?"

I ask because I don't want to bum anyone out, due to my own ignorance.
(not yet, anyway.)

We are pretty easy going around here, and truly understand that it takes a bit of time to get used to the rules of different communities. With very few exceptions, such as flat out spammers, or those creating multiple accounts to scam the system, we give gentle reminders and warnings when someone violates our guidelines. However, breaking them repeatedly can also result in a ban. I doubt you have anything to worry about.

I don't intentionally cause any friction, and I'm not into scamming the system... but I'm also new to this stuff, so I don't want to break any rules by mistake.

Knowing that someone will give me a 'heads up' if I've overstepped any boundaries is good enough for me.

If you are unsure of something you could always create a thread in the V7N support section if it's related to V7N. Question on where to post a thread..etc
