Google Ads on 404 pages

Probably you heard that Google allows Adsense on 404 pages. Anyone has experience with it?

Yes, if we have installed adsence code on default 404 page template, google will show ads based on site title and your computer cookies.

If the domain is UP then Google will allow. But what is the us of placing on it, no revenue from

that's good news, or old news from your point of view. But I always knew google didn't allow the ads on 404 pages for whatever reason. Ads on 404 pages can bring huge profits especially for free web hosting providers. Hostgator which is a paid hosting provider puts its google adsense pub id and ads on all default 404 pages for example.

There's lots of money to be made.

As Far Adsense is concerned they do n't allow ads on 404 pages as they are content less pages..

what specific rules in Google Adsense states this placement of adsense in 404 pages? I did not find any rules from G.A., maybe i just missed it. if you do have, can you post the link here for that specific rule?

I'm going to try that I have google ads on every site I have and get a direct deposit every month like clock work. People just dont click banners anymore I even went to the 728x90 and it's like they don't see them last month 30,000 banner impressions and made hardly nothing
