the trick is best done if the site building the link pop of other sites is not connected to your other sites.

I love linking with PR0 sites...i see no problem with it...you never know what a sites' future PR will boost to in the long haul.

Also, another good trick i like is when people link to me from stand-alone pr0 pages.... in addition to reciprocating their link to their main page, i also link to their stand-alone links page (where my link is located)...that way, it will eventually get indexed and gain some PR

So I think I will not loose if I'll place the backlinks to the lower PR sites from my first page.

I usually try not to link to many external sites from my home page (other than with my blog where I need to put tons of links on the home page)
