How to find authority sites?

How do you know? You probably won't. But if it kicks ass for major single keywords, then it might be worth regarding that site as an authority on that keyword!

Of course, the theory and practicalities of authority sites is pretty much in the air. The whole concept basically says "Get great links from kickass sites!" Of course, such sites are not prone to give out links easily.

stuff that ranks well in both Google and Teoma for fairly competitive terms is a good authority.

its not just who is a good authority that is important, but also "how can I get links from them or links from places they are getting links from"

one of the tools I use for that is http://www.linktree.info

the linktree.info site is misconfigured. when I go there it downloads a file.

that sucks because that tool is awesome. if it aint back up soon i will need to pay a programmer to make another tool like it.
