Once i found good list of websites who accept donations and list sponsor links. On some of this pages more than 200 sponsor links and they still have pr6-7.
I think that Google doesn't like idea when websites change links and list all reciprocal links on 1 page.

I agree that some pages with hundreds of links get good PR. I have links to sock knitting patterns at my blog, and they get lots of inbound google traffic, and aren't blocked in anyway.

Google's algorithms aren't as simple as "more than X links is bad."

Agree. Somethimes you can find old "dinosaur" type websites which belong to some teacher or libruary with thousands links on one page. Google still count this links.

I was promoting once website about Classical music and after we wrote 100s e-mails to different webmasters we got about 50 links from old fashioned websites. Most pages was with good traffic, pagerank, and over 100 other links. It still gave us good increase rankings.
