Gmail search features are limited

So far, my only problem with Gmail is its search features. You can't search attachments and Gmail doesn't recognize misspellings or partial strings.

For example, if you search for 'travel,' GMail returns messages containing instances of 'travel,' but doesn't return messages including 'travels' or 'travles'.

another thing that sometimes is a bummer is that it sometimes cross threads messages.

i had 3 conversations threaded together today

This hasn't happened to me yet, but on the "Help" page, Gmail mentions this.

Also, I notice that it's been down all day today (7/19/04).

Hmmmm.

Well, it didn't work for me in IE 6.0. And it didn't work with Mozilla 1.5.

Finally, it works with Mozilla Firebird 0.6

(Go figure.)

mine was down for about 2.5 days recently. had like over 300 stinkin emails when it came back up

I still use my other email for a bunch of the stuff, but some stuff randomly has to wait becuase Gmail randomly does not work.
