Have a speculation about when Google will update?

Do you think there has been a backlinks update? PR update?

Hi, I just launched my site last year and I have yet to receive any PageRank. Does anyone care to hazard a guess as to when the next Google PageRank update will be?

Shouldn't be long I've had a new site up about 6 months and haven't received any PR yet either. It doesn't usually take much longer than that for me to get some PR.

I'm not really sure what Google is up to if I'm to be honest.

I usually make a habit of following links that brought visitors to my site, one of which took me to my sites listing in dmoz. For whatever reason the dmoz page my site is listed on had a PR of 0 about a month ago and now it's suddenly back to normal.

...and yes I did hit page refresh just to make sure because I know sometimes the PR bar won't update when viewing a new page in the same tab in Firefox.

Anyway, I just thought this was extremely weird.

Today, Google has been updated page ranks for websites. I have checked my websites. You can check PR for your sites and my observation is major drop in PR for many websites.

Yes. Google PageRank just updated and my blogs benefited from it. Sadly, v7n forum drop 1 now PR4.

Hello Everyone,

So, atlast today our page rank got updated and like the same old story some got better pagerank and some got their page rank reduced and some have not even get ranked. Well, we have seen from past that google update page rank every 3 months or so and we all who believe in page rank and found page rank favourable get started to write on forums or blogs or on any other things to share page rank discussion.

My point here is when we got some page rank from google suppose 2 for new website or 1 also after 3 months we are getting our page rank increase so we are happy but if we get reduced then we dont believe how it is possible. Why didn't google keep the page rank as it is the same old if he doesn't want to increase the page rank and why he reduced the page rank. By what logic he is reducing the pagerank. Everyone is trying hard to get their website optimization get as many as backlinks and paste fresh new content everyday or week. So why google doesn't see our hard work. Why he reduced the page rank for not obvious reason.

Should we protest against google for reducing page rank? Or should we stop working on our website?

Can we do something?

Page rank of my main forum is still the same. Same with my sons forum, his stayed the same.

But my wifes forum went from PR 0 to PR 2. Which I am happy about that.

Also, I noticed my sons forum and blog ranking well in certain keywords. But I am not sure if that is to google updating things or me posting content on a regular basis.

Sadly? Do you feel that the forums having a higher PR would get the V7N higher than #1 for webmaster forum in the Google search results?

Keep in mind that PR is still only one part of what determines search results. If you get too hung up on it, you will find yourself forgetting the importance of other areas that determine the overall success of a site.

It seems to be a Google PageRank update underway My newest site is up from PR0 to PR1. :-)
