The phrase "bollywood news" has a very high competition. It means that you're going to have a hard time gaining good ranking while using that phrase in Google. Well I guess it will be much better if you're going to target other keywords or key phrase which are related with your bollywood site rather than using highly competitive keywords. It is also important to use those kws/key phrase in the most appropriate page of your site. Otherwise, it will not be that effective.

Directory submission? Well... they say that web directory submission is not that effective nowadays but I guess... submitting your site to those reputable directories like Yahoo, DMOZ and etc will somehow give you benefits. I don't know how much or how many backlinks you're going to need to obtain or to have a PageRank of 3. Just continue your link building campaign. It will soon pay off... as long as you're doing it in the right way.

That sounds like a good place to start. Once your google webmaster tools has been setup on your google account and your blog - then you will have a better understanding about what is going on.

For me, it's very advisable to use Google Webmaster Tool in your website or even in your blog. It will provide you important data/statistics that will help you in improving your site's/blog's visibility in Google search. Isn't that nice?

backlinks from pr1 websites then u require 444 backlinks
backlinks from pr2 websites then u require 81 backlinks
backlinks from pr3 websites then u require 15 backlinks
backlinks from pr4 websites then u require 3 backlinks

this chart is displayed somewhere and i can't give you link of that site..
this above chart if not mistaken is not a new discovery but been referred by gurus from couple of years now....

backlinks from any source add some value.. to your domain...

why not try and then see? don't trust words experiment and experience what works.....

i am still confuse how can i generate backlinks? i am making comments on blogs but i have no idea is it dofollow or not

i installed firefox addon two but it show two colors pink and blue :_s and i have no knowledge about these two colors
