Any different referer by google toolbar and browser google?

Many SEs have toolbars, let us use google as an example.
Is there any different to use google toolbar search input box
and a browser showing a google search input box?
Questions are:
Do they always have same results?
Does Google knows you are searching from toolbar?

Thanks

No, each one is different from the other, but sometimes their results are quite close to each other. Try searching in Google and ICQ toolbars for "SEO," the results may be closely the same but there's still some difference.

While being in doubt, try using the good old manual way but of course that could be a bit time taking since you need to visit the Google homepage every time you are going to make new searches but that is fine and I too believe Google will know when you use the Toolbar.

When you are using google toolbar, then I think you may see personalized search results from google. This happens when we are logged in our Google account.

So, I think because of the personalized results, we may see different search results in Google toolbar and direct search box.

If we use a certain google owned tools or sites, most of the time they can track it down and trace where it is coming from.

Yes, I believe so. Since we are logged into Google, some of our data are collected.

Well I think for a SE and their own toolbar, it doesn't show up different search results.

And yes, I think they know or they determine if you search from their toolbar or not.

I think a few simple search is enough to reply to this question.
I believe it is good to ask questions in forums. I also believe that when you can "prove" the answer on your own, it is also good to do so. I trust what I see more than what someone would tell me.

I did some searches from the google toolbar and a google.com, it shows the same results. Same thing with Yahoo. I don't have the MSN toolbar but I believe it would be the same.

Which browser showing a google search box are you referring to?
