The URLs that Google spiders

Just for the information...

Google spiders:-

normal anchor tag links (not javascript)

area tag links (not javascript)

frame sources

Google does not spider:-

iframe sources

Google recognises ASCII encoded links and spiders them normally as long as they are not javascript.

Yeah, I agree. And you know what the best thing is? That I don't even know how to create a iframe source thing, so my links will always get spidered on my site.

Google does spider:

The noframes section of a frame page (and this can be used effectivly)
and the part of the iframe that is not visible to iframe capable browsers

Type bali diving in google result nr 3 "aquamarinediving" used to be nr 1 now nr 3 is a frames page look at the noframes section

I can't see any iframes on that frameset page.

SE spiders normally crawl links in the noframes section because the noframes section isn't treated any differently to normal html - which it is.

Hi Phil, sorry my post was not written well. I did not want to say that there were iframes in the noframes section of that site.
