Is all of the content, unique content?
If its not it will not get cached!

Also, you page titles and meta descriptions as well as the content as EnhanceSEO said must be unique. Duplicates might not be indexed.

Sitemaps will do. Also, consider submitting multiple sitemaps because you have many pages.

Yes, I also think the reason is my content. My site is about biography and I collected data from Internet and edited it to make some different. It's not duplicate content inside my site but it's same with some other sites partly. Do you have any suggestion for my situation?

First you should make sure your content is unique, and then build much more high quality backlinks. Then google will indexed your pages.

I think it's just normal not to get all the pages of your site indexed.

right now its hard to please google. You just have to wait till google crawl your website. You might as well submit your site to social bookmarking to get index fast.

how long has it been since you have submitted your sitemap to Google? anyways, that is not that important now, what you should do is to check your website and the sitemap that you have submitted. the problem must be in this. Google's webmaster's tools can show problems with sitemaps or site pages have they not shown any report about it?

although having a unique content is good, sites with duplicate content still gets crawled by Google so you should be checking your website.

Hi There,
I would suggest you to check the caching and indexing through google tool. If they are really not cached then i would suggest you to involve yourself in link building process for inner pages too. You can bookmark the inner pages in various social bookmarking sites and search engines also so that crawler do crawl visit those pages.
Regards

I have submitted sitemap for 2 months. I have about 100 quite good backlinks (in forum, link exchange, blogs, bookmark sites ... with same topic with my site). Google webmaster tool said that they indexed 20.000 links of my site but when I check by command site: www.mydomain.com in Google search, it returns only more than 1.000 pages indexed.

I suggest you try to build more backlinks. And also try to get backlinks for your internal pages. Matt Cutts recently posted in his blog that Google crawl sites depending on what the PR is. That is: the better a site's PR is, the more will google crawl that site. I guess crawling and indexing are somewhat linked together.

i thinks you will have to check your robots.txt file and submit your sitemap.xml in Google web master tool again.

if possible on you part, gather some backlinks for those pages that were not indexed. Social bookmarking sites could help you with it.

For having more pages of the sites indexed in the search engines like Google, some ideas could be useful to follow and use such as the matter of constantly and regularly updating the pages contents and a great example could be the forums that are many times visited by the robots and crawling agents tens or even hundreds of times a day and also sometimes adding internal links can be great in boosting page indexing process.
