Getting Adword hits?

I've been getting hits showing up in my logs from http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/ads

How? I've not yet begun to run adwords...

hmm.. in Gmail they also included related resources (not paid). anybody know how those resources show up as clickthroughs?

Checked my logs and although I'm running adwords no hits from that pag.

Hmm... I wonder where those hits are coming from, then... ? What do you stats show when you get hits from adwords?

Stats show the exact search term that was input into google, you cannot tell its even come from adwords, unless of course like me your page is listed so far down google that they could of only come from adwords.

If you look at the page it came from you can see the adwords, but in the main listing my site would probably be down 10 or so pages.
