Links not showing in google?

Hi

I would like to know if some people seen this happening before:
How come someone visits my site, checked on bases of awstats and then when i follow the link back to the there query on google , it aint there anymore. Do links get dropped in the beginning when they are new added or..

Not sure what you are asking here?

When I follow a refer from awstats I typically go back to the site that refered me if it shows that google refered a vistor to your site it would be displayed based on the keywords in your keyword list on awstats..

rankings change all the time. different algorithm changes, different databases with different terms, local geographic filtering, etc.

Hi crazyhorse,
IMO, if u r trying to search by the keywords listed on your stats...then u should also look out in the raw log files....I mean, u r trying to search on google, but visitors might came from another SE, so u r not able to find the site on G.

Im just using the last visitor option in awstats that shows me the google refer. The reason why im asking this cause i read the paper"google is broken" in which statements where made about links being dropped to free up space cause its algo was to the maximum.
