Bing has beated yahoo - Page 3

I like a lot of things about Bing...but old habits are hard to break. And as far as who is beating who, this will change if the new deal between Microsoft and Yahoo goes through. Then together then will be another step closer to their rival, Google.

We will see. The initial launch was a great indicator, but of course Bing will never beat Google in matter of months. It will take years and not the very least, decades.

I hate to admit it but I do like the way that bing works (inner links from EVERY site as opposed to just the ones google feels are good enough to be displayed!)

Bing is not that impressive. I did a search for my own sites and I have the number one and two positions.

Only problem is when I click on the link, different sites com up. Figure that one.

I just bought a new laptop with window XP using bing as default in IE, I must say the search engine works good....got very related results and I would be using it from now on...

I'd like to see all three - Bing, Yahoo! and Google - more competitive than Google having such a monopoly. Monopolies are scary.

The deal was going to happen last year between yahoo and MS but things did'nt work out.

No its not at all like this... people are just making out rumors. I always ignore this type of stuff. Bing cannot beat yahoo so early and there will be tough competition. Yahoo also has strong grip out in the market.

I get a lot of traffic on my sites from Bing searches. I'll be comparing it to the other search engines after Bing has been around awhile. It brings me more traffic than Ask.com - but I'm not sure that's a surprise.

Wow is this for real? I never thought that bing would climb so high in such a short period of time. Bing is now number two but I bet it will not be able to climb further high in order to compete with google. But who knows..
