Bing seem to have been able to get enough attention. Now question if they would be able to use the momentum to get close to Google.

Although I don't like Bing's serp, I have to admit that their background pictures are beautiful and I go there to see the pictures every day. Good strategy from them.

The real market share stats:
Google: 78.48%
Yahoo: 11.04%
Bing: 8.23%

Bing only rose 1% in June over the former Live search...the first month if Bing's exsistance.

The market-share numbers are based on an analysis of 1.3 billion search engine referring clicks worldwide (336 million from the U.S.) collected from StatCounter's network of 3 million Web sites.

Is it because Bing is new and constantly updating compared to Yahoo? I haven't try to use Bing to search for keywords. But am sure its really a tough competition.

Bing had a jump start maybe because people just got curious so they started using it. Now the challenge for Bing is - could they retain those people.

only in the US

in Europe , Bing's launch was worse than what did msn search engine

it may be due to the lack of features in the european version of bing compared to the one you got
