Google Page Rank Doubt - Link Juice

I have one doubt in GOOGLE page rank.

My home page rank is 2 but inner page rank is 5, suppose i give the link to home page from pr5 inner page.

Can i get link juice from inner page to home page?

Yes, make sure you have proper link structure. And even if you place a link from your PR5 page to your index page that still isn't a 100% guarantee that your index page will go up to PR5. Better check your index page's quality of content and see if you've optimized your keywords properly.

I think that internal pages do pass on PR. You should have a excellent internal link structure in your site.

Link from PR5 page to homepage if it benefits your site visitors.

This question makes no sense to me. You seriously don't already have a link back to the homepage from every single page on your site?

That I think suggest that the person do not have a good internal link structure in his site. And that is why I suggested [in my previous post] to him that he should have excellent internal link structure.

You need to have good internal structure to get benefit from hyperlinks. You should also concentrate on getting links for your home page. I think this is great

that your internal pages have PR5.

It seems like it, either the internal link structure is not properly done or from the quality of content of the index page itself.

IF promote the site internal page well than home page.. sure her is a chance of high PR. And the link back will help to pass some link juice but not same as internal page

You can, but the question is that only this will not have the homepage's pr rise by 2 points - you'll need a good deal of link-building for that if you want a higher pr. Another point is what for? IMO you just need to fix your internal linking and make sure the pages you want to rank do so.

Build your navigation including keywords in your links and think of your users when you build your navigation.

You can try optimize your internal link juice flow with a process often called pagerank sculpting (it's about organizing your internal links and in addition making sure to nofollow unimportant internal and external links)

i agree with the suggestions above... but i think its your index page that is not properly optimize and linkbuild... try check the link back to your pr5 and index.. if it had a difference........

It is possible (but highly uncommon) that an internal page has much more links to it than other pages (fantastic review of something/really good link bait) added with low bounce rate, etc. resulting in a higher PR than the home page, BUT your internal site structure must be way off. Did you inherit/buy the site? it seems like this would be a feasable explanation. I would review the whole internal link structure to ensure a clean and proper structure (try not to have more than 3 clicks away from the home page as a basis and work from there - I have no idea as to the size of your site). The site is obviously doing something right, and if you're PR5 and are having to ask the question, I'm guessing it's not yours or you recently acquired it?

i have a backlink to my homepage from every page, i have an internal page with pr4 and its given my homepage a pr3 i just thought that my homepage would be a 4 also?
