Why alexa index the Nofollow link?

All documents I read tell me that nofollow link indication that it's not a vote for the page it links to, so why the alexa index those links?
It's same on google and yahoo, when I search the backlinks on those search engine,the backlinks no matter whether is a nofollow link all appeared.
So does it mean those nofollow links made some influence on the traffic rank?

Do you mean that G shows you no-follow backlinks for your website when you search with link: command? If you can be specific then i can help you better

You know if you have used google webmaster tool,you can found the nofollow links in it,as your backlinks.

Me too having same confusion. but its depends upon the site you choose to link..it may be either dofollow or nofollow.

Well because its just google who cares about nodofollow and dofollow , And Alexa isn't part of google , and as jingwen said you can found nodofollow links too at webmasters tools, So its mean Google also cares about nodofollow but they just show some of your back links At google search ...because of some security reason, ( honestly i didn't whats security reason behind this )

From nofollow tag for your link on blog or forum you will get only traffic but not any backlink

Google, Bing, Yahoo, Ask, Alexa, etc. will always show links coming through even if they're nofollow. The difference is that the link which is nofollowed will not pass any "link juice" to the site you're linking to. If you're using nofollow correctly, this shouldn't matter.
E.G. Google's Knol is nofollow (unless you have some stranga algorithmic permisssion no-one seems to be able to nail down) bu they'll always show up as links in your webmaster tools.
