Why Google Traffic is more than Yahoo and MSN

Hello,

When I checked on my Statistics, Google traffic is always more than Yahoo and MSN alot.

I really want to know some tricks on how to get traffic on Yahoo and MSN.

I know some tips on Google already based on what I read from this forum including Article and Directory submission.

Any tips is appreciated.

The reason is because more people use google than any other search engine.
I don't worry about traffic from yahoo or bing, more than 80% of the users use google, so that is what I focus on.

No, they're not better, just more popular

Google has more than 70% market share of the search engine traffics. So it is common that you get more traffic from them.

It's susually a lot easier to rank in Yahoo and MSN/Bing than google, so if you're not ranking there at all, there may be some odd reason. Try signing up for the webmaster tools equivalent in Yahoo and Bing, and you'll soon see any errors.

I do use google often but for regional I like to use yahoo.

Msn or bing I hardly to use it.

More people prefer searching with google and hence there is more traffic from google. These days, I get a lot traffic from the new BING

google users are more comparative to the other search engine and most of the users using google because they get more relevant search results and also google has more index pages than others that is a reason why google is more famous and we are getting more traffic.

Google traffic is more because Google users are much more in comparison to Msn or yahoo. You can even get traffic from MSN or yahoo by getting more links to your website.

Yes, Google is the most used search engines by visitors when finding for information on the internet.

Another one reason, perhaps most of your keywords have better rankings in google search results compared to yahoo or msn, that's why you got more traffic from this search engine.

As you have also stated, you can find lot of advices and tips about how to get higher rankings on Google, but, nothing about Yahoo or MSN (not to talk about other small but sometimes, more relevant search engines). Google is bigger and it's algorithm is almost known so people know what to focus on.

Yahoo seems to convert better than Google though.

If your site gets top ranking for the same keyword in both google and yahoo, still traffic from google better.

This is nothing new and if you take a look back at the statistics and reports made public since several years ago, you will notice that day by fay the search traffic share of Google got boosted while both Yahoo and MSN began losing the online traffic market.

Google is the largest search engine - more people use Google than Yahoo and MSN combined.. on the upside if you increase your yahoo/msn traffic - you will most likely increase your google traffic as well
