Can anyone help me with Google ranking?

Yesterday, I was ranking on Google in page 3 position 8th for a certain keyword, then I move up to the first page position 7th. At the end of the day I was back down to page 8 position 9.

Today I am page 8 position 2

My rank did not change on any of my other keywords yesterday and today.

I am wondering which cause this big fluctuation without doing anything to my website.

Any ideas of what causing this will be much appreciated.

In lots of cases when fluctuations like this occur google is messing around with either the way it scores back links or is actually adding and removing links from its records.

For example tons of people reported similar fluctuations around the June 18, 2009 update from google that they are now able to index content from some SWF files. People noticed jumps that occurred on an hourly basis and it was felt for a while before and after that date.

This being said your situation could be related to an internal test or batch google is running. The massive fluctuations are too much to blame on you hitting different data centers on your search.

Long story short it is really hard to tell exactly, but most likely google is either just messing with you

or they are testing out a new wrinkle in their algo.

Update:

Just remembered I had a ton of new links show up in my webmaster account yesterday. Did not think about that until after I posted this. So maybe it is related to what I said above.

Just keep building good keyword proportioned content with properly tagged images on all your pages and the rankings will slowly trickle up

Build more and more high quality backlinks and make sure all of them can be indexed by google.

Flactuating your ranking positions has many cause. I also experience this one before.
One is when your link are being submitted or place in a higher authority sites with high PR, high alexa like social bookmark sites. This could make your keyword ranking boost up like a kangaroo in just a single hours (4-5 hours). And after a following days it will goes back, to it's original rank.

But then if you haven't done nothing and you're ranking positions just jumped alone without any link building, it might cause in the Google updated its algorithms...

It also could be DC problem, might be you got some another DC on which you are getting good position. You must have to do working on link building of your site.

I modified my site title yesterday to test it, I am page 7 position 4, and went up page 1 position 1 for another keyword for now.

I will keep working hard no matter what results I will have.

Today I found 3 scrapers using my site contents with hidden links and texts who I reported to Google. Perhaps this is what's causing the problem.

What do you think?

No need to worry about this. Such fluctuation is very common and it is hard to tell the real reasons behind this. Keep doing good SEO and you will eventually see the results.

Wednesday - friday.. Bl updation and also find Google indexing crawling the sites.. So on this Google updation many changes happening in SERP...

Unfortunately contents alone is not enough to rank high even if is quality. I will say it is a combinaison of quality contents and backlinks.

Sounds like google is playing around - start adding more backlinks to your site!!
