Angela's/Paul's Backlinking and Adsense!
I intend to use either Angela's or Paul's backlinking services for my newly launched website, and was wondering if this can cause any problems with Adsense. My understanding is Adsense administrators can get quite iffy when it comes to certain backlinking methods and to be honest they're my website's only source of income at this stage and can't afford to loose them.
Any advise?

Personally, I think these types of links are shady SEO tactics...I have a client who is having me do the links for them, and half of the links that Angela provides closed their registration due to so many people doing this...

Angela's/Paul's Backlinking and Adsense!
Honestly, this will work if it was done years ago when the concept was still new. But I guess they pretty much get the pattern of Angela and Paul links already that it doesn't have that much impact as said nowadays.

Why are they shady? Why is it any different than blog commenting, directory submissions, social media submissions, article submissions? They are all ways to dump backlinks - IT IS NO DIFFERENT!

I think it is a LOT different. These people put a lot of work into their communities, and to have a bunch of people not even interested in their site create profiles simply to never use them, and post links, is an insult in my opinion. I feel that it is stealing in a way.
Now that I have stated my opinion, here are a couple of facts: Most community sites delete inactive accounts, ESPECIALLY if nothing was ever added to the profile except links.
So how is commenting on blogs not the same thing? Because you are contributing to another website and benefitting from it, not merely piggy backing for worthless backlinks.

For me anything automated could be considered grey hat or black hat techniques. Manual submission is still the best way.

NOthing wrong with semi automated but yes mass automation of backlinks does end up being spam and black hat

This kind of backlinking service is sometimes seen as spam, cause many sites does not allow to drop backlinks on profile pages.

In my opinion thats nonsense. First off I always encourage people to participate. ALWAYS. But if you end up not participating as much as youwould or should how can using a site in the way that it was programmed to be used be stealing? The programmer can set that site up anyway he chooses. NO links, nofollow. can't place a link until you meet certain requirements etc. many choose not to for one reason - increasing member count. They want to make it as easy as possible for you to become a member and stay a member. Thats worth more to them than a few bytes in a link.
You know what I think is stealing? Sites like Facebook, Youtube, twitter that drive their value into the billions off of user created content never give them a dime and never give anyone but themeselves the opportunity to enhance their own web space.
Its always a balance thing in life which is why I respect this forum and that balance. You have to give something to be able to post your links. It might help your point if you removed an attempt to post your links after only two posts. Kind of contradicts what you were saying.

Angela's|Paul Backlinks are not bad at all but I would suggest you have to stay normal or natural on providing your sites with backlinks. Yes, Google will not be happy to see your young site having too much links this early.
Try to balance things and don't get be persuaded by others read more in forums and blogs or SEOBOOK this are maybe the best resources I can give you.

I guess everyone hasn't read about them. They release every month an information list of 30 or so sites where you can place a backlink back to your site. People all over the internet use the links and unfortunately people who didn't even buy it. Due to their success they have the most copied and stolen list on the internet. Still, they do work.
