 Sheeesh... am I the only old one that hangs out in this forum? Goof lawd I have kids older than some of you!
I spent nearly 20 years in the corporate world as the Director of Human Resources and was a motivational speaker through it all. About 3 years ago I walked away from it all and moved to the sticks. I work part time from my home in web design and digital photography.

I go to college in the morning and work at McDonalds the rest of the day. 
My major is "Internet Webmaster Technician". I'm taking the CIW test, an ASP.NET class, and a database class this quarter so I get to study a lot.

We have a few older people here. It amazes me how many web designers are teens, though. And a bunch of them do great work, too.

I feel like I should tell you yungins about the old days of the square wheel, when a laptop was a piece of paper on a clipboard. I fell ooooooooolllllllld now! My oldest son is only a year or two younger than alot of you.
As for the question at hand... I own and operate a small but growing custom motorcycle accessories business and goof around on the computer while the kids are at school.

Junior in College double majoring in Computer Science and Business - Entrepreneur. I've worked two summers as a Software Tester for a small company near where I live and I decided that I'm never working for anyone again ( which is why I decided to double in Business recently ).
I'm a crappy web designer and will probably end up doing more server side coding or web hosting than web design.

By server side coding I was referring to the backend of websites or services as compared to working on the general flow and layout of a website. I suck at anything artistic and should probably just stick with stuff that people won't see. As you can see my website is pretty bland.
