Webamasters,may be you would be more known to Google Adsense than me.But for last four months what I have observed is that.If you are displaying google adsense ads on your website and want a good CTR with maximum earning per click i.e. more than 0.25 then you should not display only text ads on your websites.Displaying text ads on your website will give you the lowest per click earning.

So if you are following that please create a new adsense code with text and images.please follow it and provide me some feed back if I am wrong or right.

yes this is indeed true but don't over do it since it can disturb your visitors. a high CTR combined with low visitors bring the same $$

Yes but you need some serious traffic to get statistically significant results with website optimizer

I have tried image ads but they did not worked for me. My CTR decreased a lot. I personally have the best results with text ads only.

On my new site I just placed text ads for the first time and I am looking at the site. To me text ads look more professional and don't bother the eye.

i think when u add Google Adsense , test or image link is depend on Google . sometimes Google show text and sometimes Image.

it would have helped getting more $$ for ur site as it totally depends on the ads displayed by Google on ur site.
i haven't tried doing this experiment recently but before once i had tried doing such changes but i would say Text ads are better then image ads for my websites atleast.

It might not be simply the matter of using graphics or text links but the point is about the quality of traffic generated over the net.

On some sites you might find even a single 234x60 ad which brings thousands of dollars a month for its webmaster a month due to the quality of site and targeted traffic it receives.

I was always using the 234x60 ads and after placing text ads which looked like part of the website's navigation, my earnings went up 300%.

I agree people better click image ads than text ads, but that's not the thing decided by us. So better provide some unique content and try to attract more visitors.

I am having good results displaying text ads only as on displaying text ads i get more targeted ads and in more numbers as well than image ads in a single slot.
