I have a newer website (about 9 months old) that has a very in depth UVC bulb cross refence directory within it that is doing better insearch and in human feedback as well. My problem is that my 4 years old website has many of the referral links pointing at a certain page (UV Bulbs) that was doing well on Google (it is still near the top of MSN/Yahoo), however Google has dropped it a few pages even though itis well optimized and gains new referral links (from related sites too) on a weekly business.
My question is; I wonder if there are too many links to this page coming from the newer site and if Google is veiwing them as spam? These links are necessary for human visitors to find the product they need, so they certainly are not link spam, but maybe Google views it this way.
If so should I add no follw tags to at least some of the links to the Uv Bulbs page?
