Does google penalize you for being banned from adsense?

Does google penalize you from being banned from adsense?

Curious, because I have 2 sites. They both have an equal number of links. One has google adsense and the other does not.

The one that doesnt have adsense is PR0 and the one that does have adsense is PR1.

It would make sense that google would support its own programs, and the obvious says that it does penalize you. But I would like to hear what the general consensus is.

No. Adsense is a completely seperate part from the search engine.

Yes, dWhite is right, your site don't get penalized for it. But if you're selling links, then you're mostly likely to get penalized.

Than why does one site get favored higher in the PR than the other. They have same number of links and the site that has the lower PR has been online 5 months longer.

The inlinks to the higher PR website probably holds more relevancy and value than the inlinks to the other.

Talking I dont think google penalises!!

Adsense of google and search engine of google are completely independant of each other. So there is no question of penalising.

As Dwhite said, The links of your higher PR website should have hold more accurate and valued than the other one. at the same time contents should be taken to the consideration.

Even if you get penalized in one aspect, Google doesn't relate that to any other aspect. Don't worry about that.

Nope, google has claimed more than once, their SE is for the better results for the user, completely separate from any affilate marketing programs, even its own product.

And we all see, it indeed stick to its principle as this issue concerned.

I dont think that your site with PR1 got it because of Adsense displayed on it(though it makes a whole lot of sense if it got it that way) but have you properly compared the PR0 and PR! sites in terms of nuber of pages and they might have the same number of backlinks but some of those links might be more powerful than some others.
