How often will PR update now?
How often do you think the PR will update now? I'm wondering if it will go back to every 30-45 days or if we won't see another one for over 3 months. And why the 3 months right now? I'm thinking it may have alot of correlation to recently going public... they have been making alot of changes with their system lately especially with their Adwords program tools.

I think we might be seeing next PR update very soon. Google want to play uncertain for the webmasters. But before that we will see some changes in SERP and another BL update won`t surprise me...

Hello...last twesday google has updated pr ... a lot of webmaster I know suffered it! I own 8 sites, but just one of them (the newest) has change pr from 0 to 4!
I visit this forum once in a while, so I wonder if you know about this update...

nandini: I think we are due for visible BL update between Oct 29th and Nov 8th. I am basing that on the theory that there was a BL update that was not visible on Oct 6th.

Well, we just had a BL update. So much for theories...

I do not think that PageRank is the heart of Google. I think they are trying to find ways to shift weight from it. Maybe a new PageRank algorythm too. It seems that the age of the links now plays a role in PageRank determination.

Age of links always played an important role, but this time I feel they are devaluing the links in the footers to discourage link buying/selling practices.
