Well, interesting and somewhat true too. Google itself is a big brand name and it certainly effect on humans mind. So this is possible.

My thought about it was Google is very popular and it was very easy to remember

Google is a better search product - it produces better results - so people use it more. People using Yahoo and MSN apps know this and so switch over when they're conducting searches.

I don't think it's pure loyalty but rather a response to a good service offering.

I agree with BeebleBerry. I am very loyal to yahoo and use it as my homepage and my primary search engine. But sometimes I cannot find what I need with yahoo and have to use google.

users need good result, and google is the only search engine that provides accurate serps. maybe that is the only reason why google users remained loyal to google.

Yes, I guess 80% of people use google to search. The rest of I do not know. may be Yahoo, bing etc.....

It was suggested men prefer Google and women prefer Yahoo - I have found this to be true after speaking with friends!

I think that as far as search engine is concerned "Goolgle" is wizard & unbeatable. The reason behind is constant update & introduction of new technology.

It's the relevancy.
I try other search engines every once in a while but the Google brings very relevant results. That's why I keep using it.

Probably because it's become such a habit for so many google users. Their fingers are used to typing google into the search bar out of habit.

Google results show what I really need unlike that of Bing's "ability to guess". Google results are way better than the other two.

Right, it is true that Google Users are More Loyal, that's why in all the threads discussing about the Bing thing, lots of people are just shouting--anyway, i still prefer Googel.

SO see, G is really good at earning people'e trust and loyalty.

Goodwill of Google is best and its more reliable than any other search engine coz it find more relevant searches for it users.thats why people are more loyal with Google.

I've been using Google for years - before anyone else knew what it was. I liked the clean layout and the relevancy of the SERPs. It doesn't seem as advertising driven (but we know that appearances can be deceiving....)

I also remember that I liked the fact that when Google first came out, it was touted as created by mathmaticians and scientists - I always figured that they had to come up with a better way to search....

I just can't seem to go anywhere else. Before google, I used webcrawler. (That'll date a person.)

I love the new interface with all my lovely gadgets.

The other browsers seem really unwieldy.

Maybe it's how the letters are laid out on my keyboard. g-o-o-g-l-e

Yep, super easy to type.

May be it's because when some people search in Yahoo or Bing, if they don't find what they need, then they switch to Google because of its "impression" of being better search engine. And after searching too much, they find what they needed and stick to Google

The success of Google come from the idea of giving a chance for all to compete in their search results, and that's the right formula to get success.

Big companies can buy advertising on Adwords with their financial power but they often can't buy the organic search results.

That's why I like Google, because everybody has a chance to compete.
