Does that mean that all of our page ranks are here to stay ? Or will they go back down somewhat.. at a slow rate. Cause how can we all have a jump in page rank? Or is it just because we earned it and google finally updated their page rank statuses

My serps are getting better each week but the PR has stayed the same. Maybe I'm just being impatient. I'll just keep checking PR every hour for a few days.

My website have page rank 2 since last 8 months and suddenly, today it is 3. I am really happy to see google updates.

PR may not be the most important part and I do tend to not dwell on it but it does have significance. Would you rather have a backlink from a PR Nothing or a PR3? We know the answer, so there must be some importance. That being said I guess bottom line is traffic, but the green is nice.

I had huge jumps on several sites. Oddly, I can't justify the jumps in a couple cases because I have no real backlinks to justify them. I have several pages that went from 0 PR to PR2 and PR3 with 0 backlinks on Google or Yahoo. Weird!!

So many assumptions, questions, many discussion about this one damn thing - 'Google PR Updating'... Check your PR now, updating is going on..!

Atlast, they updated their PR - fist they removed PR data from Webmaster tools and they updated it..

Good news for all those who waited for its update - not a big issue for those who cares only about link-building..

Yes, Google just updated sites pagerank and many sites have drastically increased while some also decreased in ranking but none of my sites experienced any changes.

I think my site deserves changes, had pr0 because when google updated pr last time, I was just building my site. Now over 130 backlinks. My other website has less than that and has a pr4.

Did they update all sites already, or are they in the process of doing this?
