Google Ranking
I recently discovered that my Google rankings are differents when using Internet explorer/Mozilla Firefox compared to AOL for months. Not on AOL search box, but rather google.com through AOL.
I would like to know why such differences.
Thanks

Yes it is right.
Ranking for the same keyword may be different in google.com
google.com.uk
google.com.in
google.com.pk
etc........

U r telling about Google locals it may be different by distance data centers.. But same Google.com in IE and Firefox shows diff.. Actually i never face this issue before and should not face this problem... may be by system cache or ISP problem...

Well, I guess using IE and Mozilla could be better than AOL because when you use that, the results would get displayed on your pages as indirect extracted data and not via the direct connection. AOL is already using Google as its built in search system you know.

Yes I think you are right, AOL do not reflect the genuine data from Google.
It was more accurate before on AOL, it seems like they mix in their own results.

I have an iPhone and I use it often to check the the search engine position of websites that I optimize, when I'm away from my office.
When using Google on my iPhone, I noticed that the results differ on mobile search engine results compared to classic results.
I also noticed the same issue you noted with AOL.

If you want to get similar and correct results in your browser then always perform "Cache Clear" and "Clear History" before asking a query.

Its strange why you get different results. Here i can suggest you to go on some online rankings checkers which may turn your results at natural place.

I agree. This definitely affects the results that shows up most of the time. So I guess that's the simplest explanation why.

I don't know why and what is the reason.
I've heard that google has different results depending on all aspects that is shown in G-Analyser .
By the way, once I had strange think with domains: I've changed Hosting server, in many Internet providers my page still was found in old hosting and in same time some providers showed new Hosting server. It was going on for two days. Still don't know why and how

Every search engine have their own algorithm. Google is having many datacenters due to this we see difference in search results for any keyword.

Let's go back on the topic.
Result queries are different from IE, FF to Mozilla aka AOL. The thread wasn't about the AOL search box but rather to put google.com on the browser as any urls. Basically AOL did plug their browser into a Google data center, that's for sure.

Ya, It may happens because because of different datacentere of google and for AOL, that is already using Google as its built in search system. Also make sure to clear your cache and cookies before performing a search.
