Also, I don't think sitepoint has this concept of signatures? Or even if they do, they are just there when you log in to their portal. Once you log out and see the same page you dont see any of the signatures. So I don't think the search engines will see the links from signatures at sitepoint? What do you guys say.

There is not just one way, use many ways. Be active in forums, comments on blogs, submit social bookmarks, tweet, and anything else to get a link.
Also, don't worry about focussing in just dofollow, nofollow will help too.

the best way of link building is, I think its almost all the link building strategies, you just have to focus on making good quality than a lot of quantity.

I agree, quality is more important... When linkbuilding you should focus on permanent and relevant links and avoid no follow tags. Don’t be blinded by the little green bar that shows your Google page rank. It’s notoriously inaccurate and can often be deceiving

When I usually try to build back links I take a bunch of different unique blogging ideas and I make 1 blog for each idea and update them weekly with different and unique content. You must make sure the content is informative or people will not want to view it and it will not come up in google under what they searched for. Hopefully if this goes well your blogs will rank up in google and your direct links to your sites will be worth more and google will index your site better. Hoped this information helps. Thank You,
