Confused with page rank
Can someone clarify please....I got my page to show up in the first 2 pages on googles search, which was about 15 from the 1st link. But my page shows no page rank up in the google tool bar.
How are these 2 related??

The Google Toolbar PageRank is only updated every 3 or 4 months, so
you might have more than zero.
Google's main priority is serving the most relevant pages, but many pages
score the same with relevancy, so Google uses other factors, one of which
is PageRank, (importance).

yes it happens if your sites has N/A or 0 PR but SERPs is good like 1st or 2nd Page on Google. so it's Good sign that you are doing Good Link Building work but PR Update comes every 4 to 5 months so let's wait for PR to came when Google give PR you will sure get some good PR because of Link Building.

Don't get yourself to hooked on the pagerank thing.. As long as you keep doing correct and proper seo for your site and promoting it on places where your targeted visitors are, then all of your hardwork would pay off in the end.

You are there because of the low keywords you are ranking for, if you want to get a good position in search engines for a keyword with good traffic then you should keep building more backlinks to your site.

People are very confused about Pagerank. At one end of the scale there are those who believe it's worthless, at the other there are those who believe it's of significant value. So who's right?
First off let's look at how you secure Pagerank. When someone links to a page on your site it's considered to be a vote for it, a thumbs up. It's one of the key metrics Google's systems use to decide the importance of a page. ONE of the key metrics. If many other pages link to your page they are giving Google a signal that your page is important. If the pages linking to your page also have links to them and they are considered to be important pages, their link to you is given even more value. This is why some people suggest it's not worth getting a link from a page unless the page you want the link from has itself got a decent pagerank - this is misguided.
Have any query then send me a private message.....
Cheers!

Google has said that pagerank is unimportant. In fact, they recently removed pagerank from Google Webmaster Tools.

How old is your website? A new website takes around three months to get PR no matter where it ranks.
Also there is no relation in PR and ranking, a lower PR site can Rank above on a Higher PR site.

PR and SERPs are two different things. You may have one but not the other one.
PR is just one of the 200+ factors that Google use to determine a site's ranking in SERPs.
Your site can have no PR but good ranking in SERPs.

It usually happens your sites displayed on the first or second page on google, but your site has none PR.why?
because the PR has nothing to do with the ranking.

They aren't. You don't need a high pagerank to be high in the serps but it helps.

Don't worry. If you are getting top position on Google, automatically you will get good PR soon. you need to wait till the next PR update.

Page Rank Changes
I'm confussed about page rank also. My page rank dropped from 1 to 0. I'm not sure why. My pages are indexed. The traffic to my site has increased. I have links to web hosting sites on my website. I recently found out that one of the hosting services seems to have a problem with their affiliate program not being valid. Could that be the cause of the drop in page rank.
