Site verification at google webmaster tools

Dear all

Just help me out from this problem. My site (added into my Sig line) is age old site and since long been posted in GWT. Google verification file was uploaded since long and my site was well verified.

However since last few days back I have found that GWT is showing site is not verified. I had uploaded the verification html file again but google is still showing the message your site is not verified.

I am facing this problem with few of my client sites too.

Can anybody explain me the reason behind it.

I can't spot the verification code between the head section of your source code pal. Did you removed it?

This may probably be the server problem. You don't worry about it.

I have uploaded the html verification file at the root of the site.

It is very much there, but problem is still persisting.

Any help will be well appreciated.

I had this happen a couple of years ago for a client. It eventually corrected itself. Seemed to be their servers were too busy at the time to complete the request.

Is Google expecting the same file name now as it gave you before? i.e. when you choose to use the HTML file they give you a file name to use. Is this the same name that you were originally given?
