All rankings gone away from Google

This is for the first time to me.

And I am very concerned because that's my client site. I hope, it will come back...All of the 50 targeted keywords on which I am on 1st page and today, not there in 100 searches. I have checked that website has not banned.

Very depressed with the Google Search today!

One of my sites has this same issue currently. But the site did get sitelinks on this current google update. (3 links showing in webmaster tools)

The bad side is i lost valuable backlinks and now not on page 1 for multiple keywords that i was on page 1 for a couple of month's. I don't buy traffic and i don't sell links. My site is not banned by google. To top it all off, loosing that traffic from the page 1 rankings i had has hurt me in the pocket's as well and other folks who have content on my site. (i hope my inbox does not fill up with questions)

Few hours ago i hired a content writer to write me some quality articles. I want to get back my traffic rankings.

Time will only tell.

It helps me in terms that It is not just me that is suffering from the same pain.

However, I don't have seen any drop in BLs and Site Links for my site. It just about the rankings.

For now, I want to see what will happen next, Will this be a permanent change or just a temporary because of some update in Google.

What i keep telling myself is "google still updating things and continue working hard to get better quality backlinks" but it was a big shocker when i checked my google Analytics stat's 2 days ago.


My pillow is calling me right now.

Well, how old is your site? have you done any black hat SEO?

If your site is new then it is often with new sites as they rank well after indexing and soon their ranking drops a lot so don't worry and keep trying hard to get more and more quality backlinks by using only white hat SEO techniques.

I also encounter this scenario these past few weeks while joining a seo contest. Just like you, I'm also disappointed of what happened but I what I did is a continuous link building and updating. Then after some weeks, it came back and guess what, it even rank higher compare from the past.

first i want to know how long is your webiste, and if it is a new one , i think it is normal, just think about that why google always let your webiste to be the top one? there are also so many other good websites are waiting for the top ranking, so ,you should do seo for your website now, then you will get your ranking back someday

I think Google is always changing its algorithm and to think that there are many people out there who are also trying their best to be on top. Why don't you try working on that site more then let us see what comes next.

This is not a serious thing as an SEO should be ready to face like these changes.
If your site not banned than it will came back quickly, you just work hard continuously.

It's not serious,when google update the page ranking the phenomenon often displayed,you should continue do seo your ranking will come back.

No change on my site since the last PR update. Try to increase your quality backlinks using blog commenting and forum posting.

Have you done any black hat seo method? It may cause this problem.
